Savannah, Georgia, June 2017

June 19, 2017 by Eva Pendley Leave a Comment

We fell in love with Savannah! The city is clean, beautiful, easy to navigate, and the people are very welcoming.

Not long after we parked and started to wander around, a city ambassador approached us. She gave us a map, explained the layout of the city, and told us how to use the free public transportation.

After a delicious meal at a restaurant on the Savannah River, we caught a very clean bus to Forsyth Park. It was very hot so we looked around a bit before catching the bus again. The architecture is charming and beautiful. We felt like we had gone back in time. Tybee Island isn’t far away so we drove there to check it out.

Even though we didn’t do very much, we will be back…but in the winter when it’s a lot cooler.
