Great Smoky Mountains National Park

June 29, 2017 by Eva Pendley Leave a Comment

We hadn’t planned on stopping in the Smoky Mountains this summer but our plans changed giving us an extra day to fill before our next destination. I’m really glad we chose to spend time in these beautiful mountains even if our time was too short.  It is now definitely one of my favorite places and I want to go back to spend more time.

Everything about the Smoky Mountains was amazing; the songbirds, mountains brooks, fresh mountain air, beautiful landscapes, the trails, and wildflowers. We also enjoyed walking around Gatlinburg.

Shout out to our campground, Pride RV, in Waynesville, NC. It was meticulous, beautiful, and had VERY clean bathrooms.
